Plan to be part of our local Northern Gila County Fair. What in your garden(s) –inside or out – will be blooming, producing, or otherwise just looking its best early September? You might have the most spectacular spider plant, a bodacious butternut squash, a fabulous fairy garden, an eggplant extraordinaire, the longest pole beans, or the perfect peaches!
What will your neighbors and other gardeners you know be growing that you enjoy? Encourage them to participate.
Keep an eye out for unusual-looking seed pods, garden plants, flowers, produce for children to see, touch, and smell. We could use them for our Kids’ Table exhibit! Last year’s giant sunflower heads and cucuzza squash were great hits!
