Welcome Gardeners!
High Country Garden Club was founded in Payson, Arizona in 1997, and is dedicated to building community & encouraging gardening throughout the Mogollon Rim Country and beyond. We hope you’ll join us!
Cultivating Community
High Country Garden Club promotes numerous community projects and encourages interest in gardening and conservation for people of all ages. We foster connection and provide support for gardeners of all experience levels.
High Country Garden Club with the City of Payson has named the blue iris Payson’s official town flower. We plant irises and assist in designing and installing community gardens in Payson.
The Payson and Pine/Strawberry Public Libraries, High Country Garden Club, and U of A/Gila County Extension Master Gardeners maintain free heirloom seed libraries.
High Country Garden Club engages in numerous projects to serve and beautify Rim Country. We strive to promote education, goodwill, respect, and fellowship. Learn more about what we do.
Our Annual Plant Sale is a hit. We work all year to provide locally grown plants and flowers to enjoy. This event is in early May each spring in the Basha’s parking lot in Payson. We hope to see you there!
